The Watermillock Players are going to the Moon in 2019, for an hilarious take on the old nursery rhythm; Hey Diddle Diddle. . . by Owen Lightburn and Chris Darrall.
Bella the Cow lives with Otto and his hideous daughters Zoella and Vanilla in the beautiful Bavarian village of Watermillburg. Bella’s milk is known throughout the cosmos as the creamiest, the silkiest, most divine, and that comes to the attention of the evil MoonRat, with his hopelessly in love assistants, Dish and Spoon.
MoonRat wants the creamiest cheese and will go to the ends of the solar system to get it. He hatches a devilish plan to capture Bella as she jumps over the Moon, and have all the cheese to himself.
Will he be successful? Come and find out on:

The Watermillock Players is an amateur theatre group who write and produce Pantomimes from the Watermillock Village Hall.
Each and every member volunteer their time and enthusiasm to bring our shows to life for the public.
Our members range from the length and breadth of the Ullswater Valley to beyond into the Eden Valley.
Over the years, since our debut in 2007 we have taken audiences all over the world, from China to the Amazon Rainforest to Ullswater itself.
We are proud of our hard earned reputation for ‘something a little different’. We create our own unique Pantomimes from the blank sheet of paper to a ‘whole new world’ on stage.
These productions include: A Fist Full of Nachos, The Pirates of Watermillock Trilogy and Thor, as well as different takes of the classics such as Robin Hood, Aladdin and the Little Mermaid, and Cinderella.
As a group we like to push the envelope, to everyones enjoyment . . . hopefully!
